Remember when a Size 8 was an acceptable goal? When 0, 2 and 4 were rare and not necessarily sought after? Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?

It DOES make you think! I'm happy to be a size 8..... even though I know that today's size 8 may be yesterday's size 10. Mixed messages, indeed!
ReplyDeleteAfter already losing a fair amount of weight my 5'5" mother is now a size 8, her doctor told her to lose another 20 pounds!
ReplyDeleteYup, it DOES make you think! Maybe we should start a movement - Embrace the 8's and 10's!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I would LOVE to be a size 8. I would love to be a size 10. Heck at this point, I would love to be a size 12! I can't believe 8-12 are considered plus size. Ok, maybe it's plus sized if you're 5'1 inches tall! But for taller girls? No way!
ReplyDeleteI'm still aiming for the 8. Maybe a 6. Maybe. Yeah right, I'll be lucky to get into a 10.

Lady Fromage, there's nothing wrong with a 10 or 12..it all depends on where you feel comfortable! I'm so short, I "should" be a 4 or a 6 but right now anything in the single digits would be great!
ReplyDeleteGingerella, I'm one of the shorties, LOL!
ReplyDeleteRoz, I'm right there with you! :)
ReplyDeleteAnn-Marie, that is ridiculous! I hate that the doctors are on board with this madness!!
