Baby, It's Cold Outside

Well, cold by Florida standards anyway! *wink*

As anticipated, the past week was super-busy at work and then I started a couple of home improvement projects so things were shakin' around the Castle as well. I didn't have a whole lotta time to cook so this was one week I appreciated having those little boxes of Jenny Cuisine lining my freezer!

Today, however, I have the urge to spend some time in the kitchen. Since it's chilly outside, a nice pot of chili sounds just perfect. Beren will be having the Retro Recipe Redux version I posted here last year..

  1. Cold in FL huh. Curious how cold. Yesterday it was -9F here in Chicagoland and another blogger in Minnesota spoke of -35F today; yikes!

Oh well, no matter what the temp we gotta eat right? Some Chili Con Carne Redux would hit the spot!

    Have a Great weekend!

  2. Chili on a cold winter night is the BEST. Have a great weekend!!!! Stay warm!

3.'s gonna be down into the 30's tonight! ;) Enjoy the chili and stay warm!

  4. Roz, hope you have a great weekend, too! :)

  5. I love how you add the nutritional information. And I love that pic! Cold huh, wanna swap for Blighty?? We had some nights on December where it was minus ten, coldest one for 130 years! x

  6. Lady Cherry, as much as I enjoy chilly weather, I don't think I could handle temps that low, LOL! But you're welcome to come down south and thaw out anytime you want. xoxoxoxo
