Emotional Roller Coaster

Sorry I've been missing in action, dear friends, I have just had a helluva busy week and little time to post! As I mentioned over at my other blog, my eldest daughter and her family have moved back in with us for a while and though it's wonderful to have them all around, it's also torn the castle upside down and has also created a roller coaster of emotions. It's not easy moving 2 adults and a menagerie of pets into an already-crowded space, we're all a bit edgy, a little overwhelmed, and as is my pattern I have turned to food to assuage the stress & anxiety. I haven't been tracking and have eaten more than my fair share of pizza take-out and other junk, but this morning I am regrouping and getting back on track. Things are calming down, the kids are almost settled in, and I'm feeling so fortunate that we have each other, and a big enough house where we can all live together, so many others affected by the recession don't have this option!

Hope all is well with you, will be posting regularly again very soon.

Have a Beauty-Full Day!

  4. As much as we love them, nobody can stress us out more than family. I hope things settle down and you can get back to your routine with the extra bodies and pets around.
